I bought this bed to complete the set in my 7 yo daughter's room. I wanted something durable, easy to ensemble, and something that would grow with her. I couldn't have made a better purchase. It adds that special touch to the room. My daughter loves her bed. She says all she's missing now are the horses to draw the sleigh and she'll feel like a complete princess.

This is an attractive bed, and I bought two for my guestroom. However, I did not realize from the dimensions that my extra-long twin mattresses would not fit. After I discovered this I called the manufacturer but learned the bed only comes in the regular twin length. As I'm using it for a guest room, and not for children, that is a problem. Fortunately a carpenter was able to lengthen the bed rails and the problem was solved.

The product linked to a matress alone to go with it, as if it had enough support for just a matress. However, with only three slats for support, it really needs a box spring too.
